Multimedia and Technology Training At the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism
DEBBIE NODA started at the Modesto Bee as a photo lab technician/photographer in 1976 in days of black and white reproductions. She later progressed to a fulltime staff photographer position and has since become chief photographer. During her tenure at the Bee, photo processing has transitioned from color film developed in a wet lab to digital photos developed with computer software. Noda has assisted the paper’s photo department in making these transitions and is now forging into multimedia reporting for the Bee’s Website. Noda has a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from California State University at Stanislaus.
