About Ryan Kim
KIM, RYAN is a technology writer for the San Francisco Chronicle, the largest paper in Northern California. He covers telecommunications, personal technology and video games and also writes for the Tech Chronicles, the paper's online technology blog. Kim grew up in San Diego and attended U.C. Berkeley, where he graduated with a mass communications degree. He worked in the east bay with the Contra Costa Newspaper group before joining the San Francisco Examiner, which later merged with the Chronicle. He enjoys tennis, piano and guitar. Ryan is also the current president of the San Francisco chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association.
