About Lisa Pickoff-White

Currently, I’m an interactive producer at KQED, Northern California’s public radio and television station. I also worked as a multimedia producer at California Watch, which I helped launch, an investigative unit at the Center for Investigative Reporting. I completed my master’s at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2009. Also, I’ve worked in Beijing for The Washington Post, had a radio story on the Cumulus network, produced regular videos for the San Francisco Bay Guardian and worked on the Chauncey Bailey Project.

Before moving to the Bay Area I was an online producer at National Journal and a technology writer for United Press International.

I believe in the power of information. With the development of the Internet accurate reporting has never been more important or difficult. No matter what technique I use, I have always been strongly dedicated to producing meaningful and in-depth pieces.
