About Cristina Rivero

RIVERO, CRISTINA is a graphic artist for the Washington Post. She works closely with graphics editors and reporters to collect data, coordinate projects and design informational graphics for the newspaper and web site. Before joining the Post in 2000, she worked for the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer and Los Angeles Times. Originally from Oklahoma and Texas, Rivero grew up in the Washington D.C. area and attended Montgomery College, where she received two associate's degrees in advertising design and illustration. In addition to visual journalism, Ms. Rivero's interests include painting, playing guitar and attempting to play
mandolin.
