About Robert Lahue
Robert LaHue is the interactive content producer at the Appeal-Democrat, a 23,000-circulation newspaper in Marysville, Calif., which traces its origins to the Marysville Herald, first printed before statehood. His responsibilities include video production for www.appealdemocrat.com and its sister Web sites, being at the forefront of the paper’s reader interaction efforts, and developing new online databases. Prior to moving into his current position, he covered Sutter County government for 21 months, a beat which seamlessly merges rapid growth and development with old-fashioned small-town politics. A native of Happy Camp, Calif., a town of 800 near the Oregon border, he received a journalism degree from California State University, Chico in December 2005. When not at his work computer, moments which do not come often enough, he can be found tinkering around on his home computer, taking day trips, playing golf, or donning a cowboy hat and bolo tie for the wild and adventurous world of local independent professional wrestling.
