About Ann Robinson
ROBINSON, ANN is the assistant director of Student Media at Oregon State University (OSU) working with 300 broadcasting students each term. Robinson leads the department planning around learning assessment and cultural understanding training. In 2010 she gathered together 40 journalists for a strategic planning summit around media integration. Robinson, who grew up in Portland, received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and a master of arts from OSU. She worked as a producer/reporter for Oregon Public Broadcasting for three years, including a 10-week professional internship at NPR. Robinson reported full time for the NBC television affiliate in Eugene, OR for two years and as a weekly contributor for nine years after starting her job at OSU. Robinson visited England with her sister and the Czech Republic with her fiancée last summer. The mother of three grown boys, she enjoys skiing, exercising, goat herding and ballroom dancing.
