About Rob Liddle
Rob Liddle is lead multimedia trainer for BBC News, based in London, UK. His responsibilities include helping the corporation's correspondents, reporters and planners to provide compelling content for the BBC's News Web site. After graduating in philosophy, he became a cub reporter on the daily English regional paper, the East Anglian Daily Times. Following a stint in the UK tabloid newspapers, Liddle joined the BBC as an editor for its television text service, Ceefax. He became chief sub-editor of the BBC's new news Web site before taking on the formal training role. His two young kids keep him busy, but when he has time he's puzzling over his family history, engaging in the second-most popular pursuit on the Internet.
