About Mark Rogers
MARK ROGERS has been the photo editor at The Fort Worth (TX) Star-Telegram since 1990, in charge of all photo department operations for the paper’s Northeast Newsroom. He is one of the paper’s leaders in promoting new technology in the newsroom. He proposed and developed a Flash training program for staff and was instrumental in the paper’s initial forays in multimedia reporting. Previous to his work with the Star-Telegram, he was chief photographer at The Odessa American and a staff photographer at The Lubbock Avalanche Journal, both in Texas. Rogers has a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Texas Tech University.
