About Sarah Coyne

COYNE, SARAH is a reporter and on-air host for Delmarva Public Radio, in Salisbury, MD. Her responsibilities include hosting duties and producing news briefs, spot news and features for radio and web. DPR is a two-station outfit located on the lower eastern shore and serves primarily a rural audience of 43,000 listeners per week in coastal Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. DPR provides NPR news and classical music formats. Coyne is a native of Harrisonburg, VA and graduated from William and Mary in 1996 and obtained a masters from the University of Virginia in 2010. Her first job was in 1998 at WMRA in Harrisonburg as an on-air host and producer. She later joined the regional news program, Lake Effect, at WUWM Milwakee Public Radio. She’s trained in ballet, but began studying Argentine tango two years ago. She regularly attends milongas in Washington, DC. She also enjoys photography, cooking, music, and time with friends.
