About Sasha Aslanian

ASLANIAN, SASHA is a producer for American RadioWorks, the documentary unit of American Public Media and a reporter for Minnesota Public Radio. Her stories have been broadcast on National Public Radio, the BBC, PRI's The World and APM's Weekend America. Aslanian began her career at Minnesota Public Radio in 1991 where she produced daily news magazines and call-in programs. In 2000, she joined American RadioWorks to produce hour-long programs, series reports and deep Web sites for www.americanradioworks.org. She has won a Heywood Broun Award for her environmental reporting and two Gracies. Her essays have appeared in the Star-Tribune, Modern Bride and National Public Radio. She is a graduate of Grinnell College. This summer she'll be bicycling across Norway, retracing a trip her grandparents made during World War II.
