About Stephanie Horvath

HORVATH, STEPHANIE is a city reporter for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, a daily newspaper covering Southeast Florida from Miami up to West Palm Beach. She covers Wellington, a village of 50,000 in western Palm Beach County that is known for its elite equestrian industry. Horvath grew up in Durham, NC, and started dreaming of being a journalist when she worked on her high school paper. She earned a journalism degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, worked for The Daily Tar Heel and completed an internship at the Wall Street Journal's Washington, DC bureau. After graduating, Horvath worked for two years as a business reporter for the Palm Beach Post, covering healthcare and property insurance. She joined the Sun-Sentinel in 2006. In her free time, she travels as much as possible. This year she went to Buenos Aires, London and Munich.
