About Sarah Hoye
HOYE, SARAH is a CNN All Platform Journalist based in Philadelphia, PA. As one of the first All Platform Journalists to join the network in 2010, Hoye combines new multimedia technologies with traditional journalism skills to bring a unique perspective to reporting. Before joining the network, Hoye served as a reporter at The Tampa Tribune/WFLA News Channel 8, The Lexington Herald-Leader and The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Among several honors for her journalism, Hoye was named as the Emerging Journalist of The Year by the National Association of Black Journalists in 2008. The Kiplinger Program named Hoye the Knight Digital Media Fellow in the Public Affairs Program at Ohio State University where she produced an in-depth multimedia package on the experiences of multiracial teens in 2009. Hoye holds a master’s degree of journalism from the University of Maryland-College Park and earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
