About Sarah Huffstetler
HUFFSTETLER, SARAH is the assistant managing editor for design and graphics for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a 230,000-circulation newspaper in North Texas. She directs a team of designers and graphic artists who design the news and feature sections, community newspapers and niche publications. She recently completed her third redesign of the newspaper. Huffstetler was born in Texas and has lived in Iowa, New Mexico, Missouri and New Jersey. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in political science. She joined the Star-Telegram in 1976 and has held the positions of copy editor, feature page design editor, features design director, deputy sports editor and design director. She became assistant managing editor in 2007. Sarah enjoys outdoor activities except for yard work. She has completed two marathons, a handful of half-marathons and four sprint triathlons.
