About Scott Sunde
Scott Sunde is an assistant metro editor with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, a daily newspaper and 24-hour online news source in Seattle, WA. He is responsible for helping to direct breaking news coverage for the newspaper and its Web site. He is also responsible for social issues, science and race relations coverage and directs a crime blog. He has been at the Post-Intelligencer for 18 years and spent much of his time as a general assignment and projects reporter. He previously was a reporter or editor at the Dallas Times-Herald, Winston-Salem Journal and Greenville News. Sunde graduated from the University of Missouri long enough ago to write a headline "Carter defeats Ford" for the Columbia Missourian, compose stories on typewriter, edit them with a copy pencil and ship them to the backshop by pneumatic tube. He enjoys reading and trying to stay in shape so that he and his wife, Natalie Fobes, a freelance photographer, can keep up with their daughters,
Ginny, almost 8, and Phoebe, 5, both of whom were adopted from China.
