About Christina Zdanowicz
ZDANOWICZ, CHRISTINA is the News Producer for iReport, which is CNN's citizen journalism initiative. She leads the site’s daily news operations and makes sure iReport is represented in the top stories, from breaking news situations to "day 2" coverage. From assigning and editing pieces generated from iReport to pitching content to the CNN.com homepage editors, she ensures iReport is putting forth original, participatory journalism. Zdanowicz grew up in the Chicago suburbs and graduated with a degree in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s in New Media from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has been with CNN for three years and her first day on the job was Election Day 2008. She enjoys running, listening to music and traveling abroad, most recently to South America. When she's not in iReportland, you'll see her donning red sneakers, camera in hand.
