About Teresa Bouza

Teresa Bouza is a Washington correspondent for Agencia EFE, the world's fourth largest news agency. She covers US economy and the World Bank as well as news media. She is also a frequent writer of human interest stories. Teresa grew up in Galicia, a region in the Northwest of Spain. She holds a Master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. Her first journalistic job was in Madrid with Estación de Servicio magazine where she covered oil sector. She later worked for Cinco Días, a leading financial daily, before being recruited by the Wall Street Journal to work in the newspaper's Spanish-language edition. She enjoys internationa travel, reading, yoga, movies and exploring exotic cuisines.
