About Tasha Eichenseher

EICHENSEHER, TASHA is the environment producer and editor at NationalGeographic.com and water editor at National Geographic News. National Geographic’s online content related to water, energy, oceans, biodiversity, natural disasters, and green living reach millions of website visitors each year. Eichenseher is a native of Wisconsin and holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Prior to National Geographic, she wrote for environment-focused publications and outlets, including Greenwire, E/The Environment Magazine, and Environmental Science & Technology online. When she isn’t editing, producing, and writing, she teaches yoga and enjoys rock climbing and biking.
