About Molly Thompson
MOLLY THOMPSON is the managing editor at Channel 3000/WISC in Madison, WI, where she manages the Website, plans and directs projects, coordinates convergence projects, develops marketing and site branding strategies and is the liaison for the TV, magazine, weather, radio and the station’s other online partners. Thompson has been with Channel 3000/WISC since 1998. She was previously the news editor and a staff writer for the station before becoming managing editor in 2000. Thompson also has experience reporting for newspapers. She was a general assignment reporter for The Janesville (WI) Gazette and a staff writer for The Walworth County Week in Delava, WI. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
