About Tim Sheehan

SHEEHAN, TIM is a reporter for The Fresno Bee, a 160,000-circulation daily newspaper covering California's central San Joaquin Valley. He's covered Visalia city government in the Bee's Visalia bureau since 2003 and was previously the Visalia bureau chief/editor. Sheehan is a lifelong resident of the San Joaquin Valley, growing up in Madera and earning a journalism degree at California State University, Fresno. He worked as a reporter and editor for weekly newspapers in Fresno County, including 10 years at the award-winning Selma Enterprise, before joining the Bee in 1998 as editor of its now-defunct weekly Neighbors publication. He moved to the Bee's daily newsroom as an editor in 2001. He and his wife, Linda, have been married for 23 years and are proud "parents" to a pair of rambunctious wiener-dogs, Peanut and Butters.
