About Tucker Mccormack
Tucker McCormack is the assistant metro editor at the Connecticut Post, a 76,000-circulation newspaper that covers southwestern Connecticut. His responsibilities include helping supervise the CT Post's metro desk staff and assigning and editing daily stories and features for both the print edition and connpost.com. A native of New Haven, CT, Tucker graduated with a bachelor of arts from New York University and is a former professional fellow at Quinnipiac University's Graduate School of Journalism, where he studied the role and impact of new media and teaches in his spare time. His first newspaper job was in Milford, CT, where he worked as a reporter and photographer at the Milford Citizen before it closed in 1995 after more than a century of publication. He later joined the editorial staff of the New Haven Register and worked as a beat reporter and feature writer covering politics, crime, the courts, education, public housing, economic development and community issues. He enjoys reading, writing, music and film and is a ravenous Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
