About Vik Jolly

JOLLY, VIK is a staff writer for The Orange County Register in California. He covers cities, transportation, military affairs and global connections to Orange County. He was a fellow at the Western Knight Center for Specialized Journalism’s seminar on Covering Immigration and studied Asian affairs for a year as a Freedom Forum fellow at the University of Hawaii. He holds a master’s degree in social sciences and a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton. He started at The Register in 1993. He enjoys reading, traveling and horses.
