About Kevin Weston

KEVIN WESTON is editor-in-chief of YO! Youth Outlook Magazine where he manages a diverse staff of writers artists, photographers, Web and video producers who develop the print magazine, Web site, and multimedia content for a target audience of 14 and 24 year olds. Kevin is also a member of the Pacific News Service Youth Communications Team and an essayist and reporter for the Pacific News Service wire (www.pacificnews.org). He is also a writer, radio, and television commentator/producer for New California Media (www.ncmonline.com). From Jan. 1998 to Aug. 2000, he was the site organizer for EBAYC/Youth Together at Berkeley High School, where he provided site support, strategic planning, and supervision for student organizers working to improve race relations and conditions for students on campus. While there, he helped to create the Student Learning Center and a youth created 'zine called Conscious Seed. Kevin studied broadcasting and political science at San Francisco State University.
