About Wm Pitzer
Bill is an illustrator and writer who specializes in visualizing information and creating compelling content for print and online. He is passionate about information design, especially as it relates to explanatory news graphics. In additional to his duties in the Observer newsroom, Pitzer is also the principle of infoartz.com, a multimedia design studio in Davidson, N.C. An honors graduate of Glenville State College, Bill aslo holds a masters degree in New Media and Global Education from Appalachian State University. Pitzer is an adjunct professor at West Virginia University where he teaches a course he developed for the IMC masters program in the J-School: Visual Information Design.
