About Amanda Zamora

AMANDA ZAMORA is an online content producer for the Austin American-Statesman. She is responsible for maintaining and editing breaking local and wire service stories and photos for newspaper’s Web site, statesman.com. She also produces feature and sports packages for the site. Before moving over to the paper’s Web division in 2002, Zamora was a general assignment reporter for the paper’s metro desk. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in Latino Media Studies.
