Patchwork Nation examines the American political landscape by developing communities based on similar data, including heavily religious areas, boomtowns, industrial areas, and areas with high immigration. This use of “target marketing” to tell stories demonstrates how data can change how we find and report stories in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
