Philip Neustrom and Mike Ivanov of the Davis Wiki project discuss their success in building a collaborative community publishing system both for news generation and for the community to document their own city. The success of the DavisWiki lead to the team winning a Knight Challenge grant to bring their platform to other cities via a spin-off project called LocalWiki.
