Changing Background and Other Colors
You can change the background color of your page as well as the color of the text and the hyperlinks.
Again, in the menu at the top select Modify...Page Properties (or use the Cmd-J shortcut). You'll get a panel like this:
You can change the Background color of the page by clicking on the box and selecting a color from the color pallet.
Or you can use a Background Image as the background for your page if you have an image stored as a jpg or gif file that you can link to.
You also can change the color of the Text on the page by clicking on the box and selecting a color from the color pallet.
And you can change the color of the Links displayed on a page and the color of the Visited Links (links the user has already clicked on). To do this, in the Category section on the left, click on the entry for Links, and then make your color selections for the types of links.
Note: Do NOT use the Tracing Image option until you're more familiar with DreamWeaver nuances - this is NOT the same as the background image option.
