minidisc audio recorders
Introduction
![]()
A minidisc recorder is a digital audio recording device that saves audio onto a minidisc. Each minidisc holds up to about 80 minutes of recorded audio.
The audio on the minidiscs then can be downloaded onto a computer using a program like Protools.

I have an older SONY minidisc recorder--an MZ-B50. I have uploaded audio from it years ago but cannot recall how I did it. I now have a MacBook Pro and would like to upload some discs to it. Anyone know how to do that? Or upload to a CD?
