Setting mono input (TYPE)

Setting mono input on Tascam DR-100 recorder

When recording with just one connected external XLR mic, for example, you can input and record its input signal to both left and right channels.

  1. Press the MENU key to open the MENU screen.
  2. Use the wheel to select INPUT SETTING, and press the ENTER/MARK key.
  3. Set the TYPE item to MONO.


NOTE:
When set to MONO, recordings are not made as mono files, but rather as stereo files with identical left and right channels.
