Fellows in KDMC workshops often create integrated multimedia projects as part of their training. We publish finished training projects for posterity. View more projects.
The Prescott Circus is a unique after-school program for low-income youth from Oakland public schools. Participants commit to nine hours a week of training in physical circus skills like unicycling, hambone body percussion, stilting, juggling, balancing and acrobatics. Homework tutoring and an academic summer school session are offered to the students as well. The Prescott Clowns develop an hour-long show and perform at over 50 community events every year.
